How to Have Longer-Lasting Lip Gloss

February 13, 2009 at 9:58 am (Beauty) (, , )

I love the way it lip gloss looks, but it wears off so quickly. I found an easy way to make lip gloss last longer!
Just use a nude lip liner first ‑- it gives the gloss something to adhere to. Pencil in your naked pout, then apply gloss!

This seriously works and I am so going to do this all the time from now on!

Self Tanner Tip!

November 21, 2008 at 10:54 am (Beauty) ()

Even though Winter is right around the corner, some girls still want to have that glow about them they get from tanning.  If you’re going to use a self tanner, you find yourself streaking (not glowing) after applying self-tanner, put some baking soda on a loofah, and scrub away the stripes.

Now, personally, I don’t tan but I have a friend who does and she loves using self tanners!

My Favorite Lip Gloss!

November 20, 2008 at 10:50 am (Beauty) ()

I am STILL searching for that perfect lip gloss.  I have but a few requirements:

  • It has to be nude, but not so pale that it makes me look like a corpse.
  • It has to be shiny, but not so goopy that my hair sticks to my lips.
  • It has to be shimmery, but not so glittery that I look like a showgirl.
  • It has to smell yummy, but not so sweet that it gives me a headache.

Do you think I have too many requirements?  What are yours?

Powder Your Roots!

November 20, 2008 at 10:43 am (Beauty) ()

Don’t have time to wash your hair? No worries!

If your hairline starts to look greasy, dig up a big, fluffy makeup brush, and dip it into a pot of loose powder. Tap it once on the back of your hand to remove the excess, then dust it over your roots. It mops up oil and blends into your strands, so no one will know you didn’t wash your hair.
